After an extended absence, Draxtherion Hawkwind, one of the original NIMH rats, has found his way to Thorn Valley. He up and vanished somewhat unexpectedly from the Rosebush Colony shortly before where the book/film opens. Discussing the idea with Tim, it would better integrate the book and film if Drax were the one who left (in the book), being mistaken by some for Jenner due to his physical similarities.

Tim asked me to come up with a summary of what’s happened to Justin from the point of view of everyone not directly involved in the schemes of a certain councilrat, so here goes…

Everything started the day of Zohar and Gabrielle’s wedding. A few of the guests saw Raganzi and Justin head back into the tunnel leading off the terrace and down into the colony after Raganzi offered a toast to the newlyweds. They got their next glimpse of Raganzi when he collapsed in shock at the door of said tunnel, bleeding heavily from a severe chest wound.

Things start to complicate.
Now the news of the epidemic have been spread through the colony and one can feel the tension in the air.
The Elders Council have summoned Sarah and Christopher to explain the nature of the disease and discuss the countermeasures to contain it. Of course the meeting quickly turns into a high-tempered arguing between the Elders where old rivalries jump into the scene.
And in the middle of all that, Sarah debates between her duty as a medic to protect the life at all cost (including the rats) and her obedience to her mother.

Ok the log is a tad large, so I suggest to print it and read it peacefully while sipping a cup of warm coffee. =D

Christopher and Sarah realized that the epidemic was caused by a bacteria carried by rats and they would need to recollect samples from them in order to analyze the original bacteria and find a cure. And the possibility of having to face the Elders Council to expose their findings and their plan to contain it is fairly clear for them.
Now, back on the clinic Sarah tries to comfort Li. The disease it's painful but she does her best to help him, and she discovers that sometimes there's no better medicine than a smile. =)

Li lay in bed, moaning softly in his sleep, still looking feverish. Occasionally, he seems to curl around his stomach, trembling, his eyes tightly shut.

The third part of the epidemic plot.
What started as a strange disease is now an epidemic capable of decimate the mice colony. Sarah and the medical team are now on a race against the time to decipher the nature of the disease, and stop it before it's too late. The blood samples from Li have been sent to the lab to examine, and going there to check the results Sarah will find a valuable ally on her fight against the epidemic.

Hello rodents ^.^
Okay, this plot is taking place at the NMC in the present, and it's about an unknown and very contagious disease spreading through the colony.
The way of transmission and the mortal degree are unknown but one thing is sure, it's spreading fast.
Sarah is trying to contain the epidemic but the usual treatment is not working, and now the medical team is facing a major threat that could decimate the mice colony.
The RPs have been roled during several days, in parts, so that's how I'll post them here. This is the second part though, I forgot to log the first >_> anyway I'll post it as soon as I can get it.

this small mouse is on a quest of descovery. a quest to collect the stones wich are the only key to her birth. raised by feild mice her adopted parents sent her on this quest when it appeared that they would not live much longer telling her of the events. they came across the stone and picked it up and it burned thier hands after dropping it. the stone let out blazzes of light a infant mouse apeared and the stone laid itself over her head. when they picked her up the stone was flipped and the name rysko was shown. not being able to remove the stone for the two seemed some how connected they chose to give her the name rysko and raise her because they for some unknown reason could not have children. but they constantly worried about her she grew slowwer than any mouse they ever known even though she was frail she had a lot of spirit. even the day her mother had to send her away 2 years later she looked as if she just matured. when that day her mother thought of asking her not to go asking the ancient one for more time to see her. but they knew this was something she had to do. she was caught alone by nimh before the rats and mice were. there she met a bat that helped her escape. his name was rieson and he has protected her like as if she were a sister since the day they met. though he often gets to the point were she has to intervine before he kills someone. during her stay at nimh she was able to cloak the purple stone under her light brown furr. until her escape. she seems impervious to aging and she is able to locate any stone simalar to her own wich is how she found jonathan and the rats.

shortly after rysko capture she discover a young bat named rieson. he seems to know alot more about her and her stone but not telling her. after he helps her escape he is overly protective of her. leting no one get close with out fighting him first. like her he has a stone green. he is always full of hope though.
