A player must pose out as they leave a roleplay, or designate someone to pose them out. By leaving a roleplay without posing out or designating someone to pose you out, you implicitly consent to allow any remaining member of the roleplay to pose you out. The only exception to this rule is if all participants of the roleplay agree to pause and continue roleplay another day. This rule applies to all participants of a roleplay regardless of who started it or is involved with it, and applies to all means of leaving a roleplay, including disconnections (voluntary or otherwise) and idleness of more than 15 minutes.

Atention all council rats! I am calling for a council meeting, as soon as possible. The meeting has to do with a council leader, rats who might be possible candidates, and more! Some of you have expressed your opinions (publicly or privately) about my latest story arc, and I would like to respond.

I am not doing this to satisfy anyone's desire for Schadenfraude (meaning enjoyment over the suffering of another), or because I get a thrill from subjecting my characters to suffering (like some post-modern 'authors'), or even, God forbid, to provide an outlet for the frustration of myself or others.

I am doing this because Sirana's suffering is necessary as part of the process of her character development.

Hey guys...

A lot of you may be aware that I came back to Nimh after a lengthy absence not too long ago, only to disappear again for about a month or so now. I figured I should at least offer a little explanation for part of it. Most of it's due to some RL struggles that've been occurring, but for the most part, it all culimated on the day of Sept. 20th, 2009.

It has been mentioned in game only once a few days(?) ago. So, for those that weren't but do read the site every so often, I'm making a post here: the first one since I joined over three years ago. (has it really been that long?)

As said in the title, I am offering free art. Your character(s), most any theme but do prefer tame themes for the pictures. These will be sketched and if I am pleased with them enough, eventually colored.

As many of you have no doubt seen, NIMHmuck has been rather quiet on the RP front of late. While there are various reasons for this, perhaps one of the biggest is IC complacency. In other words, the Rats have it too good. While they have some minor problem from time to time, they can too easily retreat inside the colony and isolate themselves from these problems. The problems inside the colony are likewise of little or no concern to the average colonist; it's politics as usual, but nothing that would seem to affect someone one way or another. Nicodemus may have had the right idea by trying to keep the rats in peaceful isolation, but they are nevertheless still falling into the trap of complacency. Unchanging, static, relatively boring, unless some more or less contrived drama is conceived.

We need a catastrophe.

I've upgraded Drupal to the latest 5.x series, and am hoping to get it upgraded to the 6.x series soon. So, pardon the dust while we work. :)

The muck (and website) will be going down sometime tomorrow (Saturday, Dec 13) in order for me to prepare to move out of my apartment for graduation.
