Well, I'll keep it nice and short, or at least as short as I can.

As some may be aware, I have tried to start up a small series of RPs evolving a comical bunch of rodents and other creatures working to help and save the weak and prayed on. Feral Friends was initially what it was dubbed and I tried my hardest to get it off the ground.

The goal of this was to create a near free form RP environment in which people could have fun, rather than stress over plots and other such things. Although free form RP would be relaxing and fun, it would at the same time, develop a plot behind scenes with out any of the normal discussion of where people wanted the RP plot to go and develop. The focus would be more on development of individual characters and their personal goals, as well as enhancing RP skills.

I guess at first, it started out ok. To be honest, it still is going ok. I've just found that there is almost little interest in the plot. Now, I'm not saying people have not said they are interested, but I'm just not feeling that people are 'truly' interested.

While yes, it's a lot of free form RP, there is still structure to it and there are still things that need to be discussed. No one has yet talked about anything the group of 'Friends' could do, let alone ask around to RP. The only time there has been any discussion is when I have brought it up and asked for opinions right before RP.

I'm not saying someone's at fault or anything like that, I'm just stating my feelings with the matter. I guess what I'm saying is I wish there was a bit more input from outside sources than me just making up things as we go. I've seen a lot of good plots and ideas come out of people on the muck and I'd love to stir up that kind of thinking again, just this time, with a fun and flexible plot.

So, why am I talking about letting the Feral Friends RP go? Well, I'm not sure it's worth it. In the end, I don't want to feel like I am controlling everything that happens in the plot. I wish for others to want to use their creativity to start things and try different things, also to sort of break this invisible wall that seems to be on the muck. By that, I simply mean there are certain people that will only RP with certain people.

I guess what I'm asking you is, should the RP plot stay?
