Hey guys...

A lot of you may be aware that I came back to Nimh after a lengthy absence not too long ago, only to disappear again for about a month or so now. I figured I should at least offer a little explanation for part of it. Most of it's due to some RL struggles that've been occurring, but for the most part, it all culimated on the day of Sept. 20th, 2009.

My mother had been going through a number of issues over the last 3-4 years, and I've spent a lot of time helping to care for her, with things going back and forth. A couple of weeks ago, she had to be taken to the hospital. After first showing signs of improvement, then gradually regressing, she finally passed away on the 20th with me by her side...

I meant to make mention of this sooner, though I've let a person or two know about it. Dunno if the word had been spread or not, but I thought I should take the time to let people know who might've been wondering about me. I'm doing much better than I thought I would be at this point. I was very close to my mother, and there was a lot of love between us. I take comfort in knowing that all of her pain and suffering is at an end, and have few regrets with her passing. I'll always miss her, and always love her, but at the same time, I'll always know that she's close by.
