And speaking of catastrophes...

...don't we need to finish cleaning up from Raganzi's little scheme to seize power by framing Justin and forcing him out of the colony? Anyone remember that anymore?

So far as I know, the colony is currently leaderless, with neither plans nor prospects of getting someone else into office to replace the deposed Raganzi. That begs the question of what, exactly, is going to be done about this, if anything? Are we going to have some kind of election arc running simultaneously with the brewing catastrophe, or just hit the big old 'Rewind' button and forget the Raganzi arc ever even happened?

What say you?

Re: And speaking of catastrophes...

I don't think we'll put our plans on hold to wrap this up, no. But if you want to continue that plotline, I'm for it. I know that we had some idea of having elections or something, but there didn't seem to be much interest in RPing it.

As for current leadership, the power of government is currently in the Council. I think that it could be interesting to mix this in as a component of the catastrophe; who knows, perhaps that's one of the reasons the Rats aren't properly able to defend themselves.

Re: And speaking of catastrophes...

I didn't mean to suggest at all that we put the budding catastrophe on hold to tie this ing thing up and finish it off for good and all. Just wanted to say that it's unresolved still and what do you want to do about it--try and work it into the current arc, or abandon it entirely, or what.

Hmmm...political infighting + outside threat = disaster...quite the workable formula. Worked out so poorly for the New Republic in the 'New Jedi Order' line of novels. Here's hoping our rats aren't quite so...petty. ;)
