The forum was having some problems with postings from non-admin users. It should be fixed now.

The blogs won't let you edit! I made three attempts to redact my "Grammatical Appeal" post, but for some reason none of them went through. Perhaps this can be checked somehow?

Uh... the permissions appear to be set okay. Do you get some sort of error when you try to edit it? Oh, hang on. I see the problem in the logs now. *grumbles about the lack of testing that this software went through on postgresql* I'll try to have it fixed soon.
