Halloween '07
We ought to have a Halloween party! I know Tzolkin's been decorating up for it, and I've heard some murmurings about the idea. So let's get something organized!
It would be awesome to have Trick or Treating throughout the rat and/or mouse colony. Juveniles and adolescents could go from apartment to apartment (and perhaps some other rooms) in costume, asking for treats or perhaps playing tricks. If we do this, we'll have to have a fair amount of participation--those who want to run locations where the youngsters can go will have to reply here, so that the trick-or-treaters have a list to refer to.
I ran a Trick-or-Treating TP last Halloween on a different MUCK (one based on The Lion King), and it was a lot of fun. That was IOC (between IC and OOC), but this one would probably be best IC.
Timothy suggests, though, that it might be more trouble than it's worth at this point to make Trick-or-Treating happen, and that it might be better to fold it into the party. So, regardless of whether we do ToT, we should plan an IC Halloween party. Timothy says that by that time, if we can't wrap up Justin's trial, the wizstaff will declare it over and reveal the outcome, which should make RPing less awkward.
So, what would happen at this party? Traditional Halloween games! Scary storytelling! Activities made up by the rats and mice themselves, perhaps? And, of course, costumes would be encouraged. This should be fun!
Post if you're interested in having a Halloween party, and if you'd also like to host a Trick-or-Treating site, say that too, so we know whether there's enough interest for that. If you have ideas for what should happen at the party, feel free to share. And most importantly, I'd like to know what night or nights would be best for you. Personally, I'd like to have the party on Thursday, November 1st, and if we do Trick-or-Treating apart from the party, I'd like to have that on Halloween proper. What do y'all think?

Just a note on the Trial thing, we may still RP some of it, but the outcome was already fixed well in advance of this RP, so we should be able to RP this without suffering any timeline problems. n.n
Justin is supposed to be found guilty, or possibly plead guilty; regardless of the outcome of the trial, he is planning on leaving the colony ICly, either as a banishment or because he wants to be left alone for a while.
