Hey folks. I'm sorry this reply comes late. I've been apartment hunting for weeks and tonight I will be gearing up for the big move tomorrow. I got some time so I'll squeaze in a comment.

The expedition rp I feel is a great foundation for something global. There's already the issues that are associated with the old Rosebush colony. And there's the issues related to Hecate and Helios' living family. These two are related. But, it doesn't stop there. I've noticed that there are many characters throughout the nimhmuck community that have a plot tie in to the Rosebush Colony. The above are some examples. So, in its self the expedition isn't big enough for a gp though it makes a wonderful tiny plot however I feel that it is a wonderful launchpad for a global plot.

Now for the next point, how will it effect the muck? That I haven't gotten around to thinking about yet. Also that's not something I can do alone. This is a global plot idea and as such it isn't my position to dictate but something that requires input from the community. So, ideas and suggestions are incouraged and appreciated, no matter what may be thought of them.

There's a subplot involving Zohar that involves two events which I came up with a few months ago.

Zohar is said to be Nicodemus' son, and a few colonists know that. (Justin, Isabella, Bradbury, Mrs. Brisby, Joseph.) However, there's been no definitive proof of it aside from his looks.

1. There is an incident with the Stone I've had in mind. Whereas Nicodemus and Mrs. Brisby can touch it, go near it--Zohar can't. It would also prove he is who he is, but it would also hurt him to be near it.

2. There is another event dealing with Nicodemus' old living quarters in the Rosebush. Zohar is supposed to eventually end up in them and find something Nicodemus left behind.

3. There's also Raganzi's plotline which was overridden by Oren. My character, Aleph, is currently allied with Oren but has been also discussed as being one of Raganzi's contacts. He'll live through the Oren scenario to be available for Raganzi.

4. Being that three of the Alchera have turned up alive (That's right, three: Aleph, Binabi, and Gera [aka Shemeber]) it is likely to create a concern for Justin. Justin has expressed he wanted Zohar to tell the Council about the Alchera due to the fact the one who tortured them apparently knew Nicodemus.

I honestly can't think of much in terms of global plot. The only idea i ever came up with that i thought had merit was having an rp involving NIMH, in and of itself. I'm not much for villians or politics. I did like the idea sometime back of maybe the threat of a flood or something in Thorn Valley.

Hey, you asked for ideas. You never specified that they had to be good ones, otherwise I wouldn't have posted.
But I agree on the general lack of a reason to go there.

I don't have too may ideas but this is my idea, ICly pretty much everyone knows Jacob's building a glider. I don't know if these ideas would help much but Cedric and I are still moving forward with our R/C Plane RP idea which would involve both Thorn Valley and the NMC. Just my 2 cents if it helps any.
