Yet another City Expedition
Heyas..
I'll just cut to the chase, here. I've been planning a TP for a long time now, involving Tzolkin, his family, and some others, to go to the city. Supposedly, Tzolkin is headed there because he wants to find answers to his past, but some of his more strange behavior, and the book he keeps close to him almost constantly since he returned from the woods with it late one night, suggests other motives. What fate awaits those who embark? I'm not completely sure.. But I can say that the expedition could likely only mark the beginning of the journey..

Well, I already play one of Tzol's family, so I'll be going, naturally. ;) That said, perhaps they meet up with Oren's rats or something?
Also, aside from just "the city" where would they end up going? The NIMHmouse colony?

Mm.. Oren's rats.. maybe I should pack extra weaponry. I hate those guys..
And, there are a few places in the city he'll likely wish to visit.. The abandoned cathedral where he lived, the NMC, perhaps a pet shop..? Other misc locations are likey as well, because like I hinted at before Tzol's not just on a personal mission. Perhaps if wizzes willing NIMH could make an appearance.

Sadly, I don't know how it would fit in with everything else he's doing right now. Sorry I can't come.

I am too of course, it's just that I have no idea of how to get my chars involved. Tenken practically doesn't know anyone from Thorn Valley, Tzolkin included (I haven't been rping much with him -.-) but if Tzol ever reaches the NMC I'm more than willing to rol with either Sarah or Patricia.
Anyway feel free to drop me a line if you have something in mind in which any of my chars could get involved =D

I've refrained from posting because I would have been yet another voice singing the "Sounds great but I don't know how to work my characters in" refrain.
However, I've thought up ways to get a couple of my characters involved. :)
1. Tibalt got bonked on the head by Ranger and hasn't been able to speak since regaining consciousness. I regret that decision now, as it has only served to further limit his RP potential. I can easily see him joining an expedition to the city in the hopes that perhaps the mice would be able to do something to restore his ability to speak. Not sure how that would play out exactly, but it'd be plausible motivation for him to join.
2. I've had this notion that Justin might suggest that the Brisby family pack up and head for the mouse colony ever since the end of the "Ranger and the Stone" arc, due to the frequency with which Timothy seems to get abducted by the bad guys. This latest abduction will make Justin feel even stronger about this, enough so that he'd join the expedition to the city with the express purpose of speaking to the NMC Council about taking the Brisbys in. He'll work out the details of how to persuade Elizabeth and the rest of the family to move later. ;)
Of course, Tibalt and Justin will be in for whatever else happens to the group up 'til the arrival at the NMC. n.n They'll split off then to explore their own threads of the story.
I hope those ideas will be compatible with your overall plot, Tzolkin. :)

To Tenken: There's a possibility they could end up at the NMC for a time. But also, there's plenty of chance for Tenken to meet them somewhere in the forest as they're leaving for the city, or so I'd think, at least.

I mean, seriously folks, just because your character wouldn't be able to follow through the entire plot doesn't mean what's happening with them already couldn't intersect with this plot for an RP or two. That was a major goal in thinking this plot through. To be able to allow intersects with other story arcs, and to allow the story to split into more than one story, so that things don't just become one huge RP, which IMHO, would be technically unfeasable.

To Kieran: Both your ideas are pretty intriguing, especially the latter, considering the political tension I sought to create around the expedition by including the Reformers as a semi-hidden force in the background. The plotline is heading for the city in general, and involving someone who wants to go somewhere specific like the NMC would only add more life, and length, to it. :)

Depending on when this expedition happens, I might even have Kieran tag along. Kinda. Sorta. In a way. n.n
Okay, so, now that all three of my Thorn Valley alts are more or less committed to this...when do we start? ;)
