I've had this blog about a week now and was skeptical about posting it. I didn't know if anyone would be interested in it. After asking around with Kimberly, I found some people were interested in it.
My apologies for not including the start of it, I didn't know how to save a log when I was doing the RP then.
At the start of the RP, Kimberly and Cedric were walking towards the creek, where they had their first date. Upon reaching there, they looked around for a place to sit before Kimberly found a place and removed the snow.
Cedric walks over to the spot Kimberly indicated, "That's a nice place." He sits down beside her and attempts to put his arm around her.
Kimberly smiled as Cedric joined her and put his arm around her "Thanks I hope the Kitchens won't miss this table cloth I borrowed." she said brushing some loose snow off of it and gently leaned against him.
Cedric chuckles, "I'm sure we can pull a few strings if they do. Or we can ask Justin to do it for us," he chuckles again. He embraces her warmth as she leans against him.
Kimberly nodded "I hope so." she said as she attempted to wrap her cloak across them both. "Its strange, even with the area covered with snow it still has a hint of beauty." she added looking around.
Cedric looks around, "I know, this place seems to be beautiful year-round. I can't wait to see it in the Springtime." He looks over at Kimberly, "But I don't want to see it then unless you're with me."
Kimberly attempts a hug "You can count on that." she said grinning and returned to leaning against him reaching her arm around him as well.
Cedric feels her arm reach around him, "Nowhere is enjoyable for me without you to enjoy it with me." He looks around again.
Kimberly looked over to Cedric and noticed he looks a little distracted "Cedric, is something wrong? You look nervous about something." she said patting his arm that's around her shoulders.
Cedric looks at Kim, "Nervous? Me? Uh no, not really," he lies. He looks around to see if anyone else is around.
Kimberly reaches to place her paw reassuringly on his shoulder "Are you sure? You can tell me." she said trying to calm him down a little.
Cedric looks around again to make extra sure no one is looking. Satisfied, he turns back to Kimberly, "Kim, uh, I don't know exactly how to tell you this."
Kimberly blinks when Cedric says this "What is it?" she asked growing a little nervous herself.
Cedric looks around yet again, clearly not wanting anyone else to hear this. He turns back to Kim, an expression on his face that is both nervous and serious, "Well, I...I want us to be...you know...together," he manages to say.
Kimberly nods "Yes, I do too." she said blinking as she has a feeling what is about to happen "Go on..." she added her nervousness receding a little.
Cedric is almost shaking as he readies himself for the inevitable. "Kim, I want to marry you."
Tears of happiness started to flow down Kimberly's muzzle "Yes I want to marry you too." she said happily "Does this mean?...." she asked and fell silent now knowing what he's asking.
Cedric barely manages to nod, despite him feeling like a lot of weight has just been lifted from his shoulders. "Yes Kim, I think it does. I hope it does." He takes a deep breath and gathers every last ounce of courage he has, "Kimberly, will you marry me?"
Tears are now flowing freely down her muzzle now and she throws herself in an attempted embrace "Yes I will, I will marry you Cedric!" she said with indescribable happiness and tries to pull Cedric into a Great big Kiss.
Cedric's heart nearly leaves his body as he lets Kim embrace him in a big kiss. He enjoys every second of it. Nothing more can go wrong today. "Thank you, I was afraid you would say no if I asked you." he says when it was finally over.
Kimberly smiled through her tears "Don't be silly Cedric, I love you and I always have." she said attempting another hug but not releasing the embrace.
Cedric feels tears of joy well up in his eyes, too as Kim hugs him again. "I thought you loved me, I just didn't know if you wanted us to be together like this."
Kimberly cried a little longer in their embrace "Oh Cedric, I do love you and I want so much for us to be together." she said through her tears of happiness.
Cedric starts to sob a bit as Kim speaks. "Thank you, Kim," he says after a few moments, "This means a lot to me."
Kimberly hugged Cedric again "There's no need to Thank me Cedric, I would marry you no matter what. I love you more than anything." she said her tears finally coming under control and attempted another long kiss.
Cedric's tears stop after Kimberly's kiss. "I know, I'm just used to thanking people. But do you think your parents will mind?"
Kimberly hugs him tighter "No I don't think they will mind at all Cedric." she said smiling happily and attempted to sit down in front of Cedric, leaned back into him and tried pulling his arms around her in a backwards embrace.
Cedric catches on and embraces Kim from behind, "I wouldn't think so either, Kim. But maybe we should tell them, just so they know. We don't want to freak them out by inviting them to their daughter's wedding when they don't know the groom," he says, smiling.
Kimberly smiles feeling Cedric's embrace "Sure, after all they might want to be in charge of setting our wedding up." she said and sat silent a few minutes in his loving embrace. "I love you Cedric, Very much." she said kissing his embracing arms.
Cedric is beaming. "True, but that might allow us a bit more time together. Although it would be a friendly gesture to help them set up, after all it is our wedding."
Kimberly smiles she enjoys feeling Cedric's heart beating through his chest while she has her back against him "Yes, You never know they may be trying to set up the ceremony in a way we don't like." she said smirking as she revels in his embrace.
Cedric grins, "Of course, we should have a say in how it happens. This will be a celebration for us and we should enjoy it. It will be the start of our new life together, it should be a celebration we shouldn't forget."
Kimberly attempts to pull his arms tighter around herself "I find myself so excited about this I can't wait until it happens." she said excitedly.
Cedric nods, "Me neither. I will count the days." He pauses a bit, "That is, once we set a date for the wedding," he adds with a grin.
Kimberly smiles "oh yes we do still need to set a date, she said patting his paw, when is the best time to do it?" she asked tilting her head back looking up at him.
Cedric thinks for a moment, "I don't think I have anything important planned for the next few months." He pauses, "At least, nothing I can't reschedule for another date."
Kimberly thinks for a few minutes "Okay how about two months from now? she asked still looking up at him.
Cedric closes his eyes for a moment to think, "Two months from now..." He thinks for a bit, "No I don't think I have anything planned that far ahead."
Kimberly smiles "It's Settled then, Two months from now." she said with excitement as she kisses his paws that are wrapped around her.
Cedric grins, "I'll try to avoid scheduling anything else important for then." He blushes slightly as Kim kisses his paws, "But compared with this wedding, nothing is really important."
Kimberly starts to stand up trying to pull Cedric up "Well my dear future husband, what are we still doing sitting here? We have things to do, families to see, and plans to think up." she said happily.
Cedric helps Kimberly pull himself up, "Thank you, Kimmy. Yes, we do have a lot of work ahead of us." He attempts to take her hand in his.
Kimberly's smile widens as he takes her paw "So what should we do first? any ideas?" she asked as she paused to pick up and fold the Table cloth back up. and got ready to walk.
Cedric's face is beaming, "Well, maybe first we should let your parents know of our plans." He begins walking back toward the colony, still holding her hand.
