Just figured I'd post this on the website. Now that the holidays are over, I'll actually be online for a change. :D

This post is about a new alt of mine, Gabrielle. I created her to spice things up a bit, and stir up some trouble. :D

The following is based off of Caboose's profile of Kieran Nimh. Not fully, because my eyes cross at
the mere mention of D & D.

Skills:

Gabrielle's main weapons skills are in her sais, three-pronged daggers that are used as an offensive weapon. She also is skilled in the art of regular fencing, though she's less practiced at that. She likes smaller, more delicate weapons.

Healer Adept: She can clean and bandage wounds. In pinch, she can do stitches, as one of her hobbies back in the Rosebush was embroidery. But don't tease her about it, or you'll end up with an embroidery needle shoved in your eye.

Smith Novice: Simple repairs. That's about it.

Scout Adept: Gabrielle is skilled in tracking, as well as moving quietly and quickly.

Physical Description

Gabrielle's fur is dark gray, with a lighter gray underside. She's much paler than her brother, but
there are similarities of features that leave no doubt that they're related. (Especially when they're angry. Which is often.)

She is tall for a female, though probably not much taller than Justin. She has a slender build that allows her to move extremely quickly. Due to her guard training, she is quite physically strong, especially her wrists and arms.

History

Gabrielle was the younger sister of Jenner and Katherine, and idolized her brother when they were growing up. In her eyes, he was their protector, as their father had died when Gabrielle was very small.

After NIMH, Gabrielle shared her brother's interest in swordplay and weaponry, though she preferred smaller and more delicate weapons. Jenner had her sais specially made for her, and shortly after the establishment of the Rosebush Colony, she joined the guard.

As the colony progressed, she began serving as a drill sargeant, training new recruits. She was known as being extremely tough, never suffering fools and never accepting less than the best. Gabrielle, like Jenner, had a rather sarcastic sense of humor and occasionally gave her less than stellar recruits nicknames. It was she who christened Kieran Nimh 'Private Stammers'.

During the Thorn Valley debates in the Council, Gabrielle kept a neutral position. Jenner did not like this much, and it led to a rift between the siblings.

After Jenner's death, she became a good deal quieter and far more tempermental. Whether she and her family were regarded with fear or scorn is up for debate, but Gabrielle thought so. She began to seek missions further from the Valley, until on one such mission, she met a feral male named Rowan.

Not long after, they married in a small service performed by one of her fellow guards. Rowan and Gabrielle had two children, boys named Toby and Jenner (nicknamed Jay). This would be shortly after Ranger was caught by Rapta and went all bats**t. For reasons known only to Ranger (who doesn't really need a reason to kill things), he and his followers killed Rowan and the boys. Gabrielle fought, but the sheer numbers were too many. She was left broken and bleeding at the site of the slaughter.

Taking up her old weapons from her guarding days, her sais, she swore vengeance. One day, she vowed, she would kill Ranger. Since her loss, she has decided not to bother with love any more. She loved her brother, her sister, her husband, and her sons--and all of them are gone. In her opinion, nothing could be worth so much pain. She wishes to be left alone, for the most part, and is largely antisocial.

Why is she a villain? Well, she doesn't much care who gets in her way. The only concession she makes to mercy is that she will never raise her paw to a child. Her weakness is maternal love, since it was this very thing that caused her to go over the edge.

But anyone else? Fair game.

Is she insane? Not necessarily. Is she a vicious fighter who can and will stab her opponent in the back? You bet your tail she is. What do you expect from a sister of Jenner?

Personality

Gabrielle is intelligent and able to think on her feet, but she isn't particularly intellectual. Strategizing isn't her thing--she prefers to slash first and ask questions later. If there's anyone left to ask, that is. This can be problematic when tracking an enemy as clever and cunning as Ranger.

Nowadays, she's entirely consumed by a thirst for revenge. It doesn't matter who gets in the way--she'll take them down as quickly as she would one of Ranger's followers. Her equal disregard for ally or enemy is partly what makes her extremely dangerous.

Currently:

Gabrielle is recovering from wounds sustained in the forest battle against Ranger's followers. She's established a somewhat shaky friendship with Zohar. What the future holds for her (and her sanity) remains to be seen. Though after Ranger's demise/disappearance, I'm thinking heads will probably roll. Gabrielle's not big on logic, either. :D
