Injecting new life to the NMC =D
Hello, just wanted to broadcast and discuss some ideas about the RP possibilities of the NMC.
For a start, I've been chatting with Tod about a trial, where Patricia would accuse him of treachery against the colony (mice colony) for being with the rats, of course that's just part of Patricia's plan to cut the relationship between the colonies (Patricia's plan is a sort of TP I'm working on to try and spice things a bit ;).
Tod is currently on his way to the mice colony, the news of Jolina missed in action have reached him and he's rushing to the colony to find out what happened. Originally he was flying with Fredric but the strong winds made him fall and now he's struggling his way through the snow while Fredric, unable to find him, went back to Thorn Valley looking for help.
Immediately a search party was formed to find Tod and as far as I know Timothy, Violet, Duane and of course Fredric are on it, Jacob and Cedric would join them flying a glide.
Sooner or later they'll reach the NMC, where Patricia is waiting to start her plan against the rats of NIMH. How Timothy and the rest will do to find Tod in the middle of a blizzard? Will Tod survive the freezing weather by himself? What would be Patricia's plan to break the link between the colonies?

Fascinating
Indeed, I find this plot to be very promising. It's got suspense, intrigue, and crisis all rolled into one. :)
I assume that Patricia is motivated by her suspicions of the rats, whom she sees as untrustworthy, analogous to the sewer rats they've had to deal with. Am I incorrect?
Also, I'd like to be able to include Santiago in this one. He's grown close to Tod, and he'll certainly have an interest in the search efforts. Plus, when the political crisis at the NMC comes to a head, he could prove to be a useful asset in the pro-Thorn Valley side...after all, he is technically a lawyer as well as Marshal ;)
Which reminds me, I really need to finish those retro-RPs with Tod...

Making the plot as intriguing and emotive as can be is the whole idea behind all this, and the more the merrier of course so feel free to get Santiago into it.
In fact, he'd fit just perfect in the role of attorney-at-law defending the rats of NIMH, thanks for joining n.n
And yes, Patricia thinks of the rats of NIMH as nothing more than traitors, backstabbers for leaving the mice behind during the escape from NIMH, and while she doesn't really /hate/, she rejects them, totally convinced that there's simply no difference between the rats of NIMH and the sewer rats that the colony has to fight everyday.
Though she wasn't always like this, but that's another story ;)

Trials and Tribulations
There's lots in the works for NMC now, which i'm glad to see. I was kinda worried it might go dead there for a while. Anyhow, here's my take on things:
Precluding the glider, i had kinda interjected that Tod could serve as a messanger between the colonies. I don't know how far this is gonna get, but it's what i wanna pursue. That said, a little internal conflict at NMC is very welcome to shake things up. Tod may (ICly) be kind of a handful for even Patricia, since he will probably be going on a vendetta to find Jolina, and won't let anything or anyone stand in his way. I mean, what would you do? That could make for some interesting rp's too (Patricia trying to corner a very determined and stubborn, let alone rebellious, Tod. I almost can't wait.)
There's also some stuff in the works involving NIMH, which i need to corner Simon and Kieran and see what they wanna do with that, and who's interested. Tod lost in the woods (well, he's at the farm anyway) is hopefully going to attract some rp and attention in general, but don't be looking for Tod to make it back to NMC just yet.
