NIMH&mice?
I was curious as to what the 'general consensus' of the involvment of NIMH in an rp? By NIMH i mean the lab, not the rats or mice...well...er...lemme explain.
It's obvious to me that anything involving the rats and NIMH would be not only far-fetched, but nearly impossible since there's little if any way NIMH could come after them. HOWEVER, the mice are a slightly different story. They do live in close proximity to a farmers' market, do they not? which is where (in the book) the rats and mice who went to NIMH were obtained, right?
Okay, the idea is this. What if, merely by accident, a few of the NIMHmice were caught by gatherers for NIMH (or some other laboratory)? I thought it might make for an interesting discussion, if not an rp plot. Like i said, i'm not aware of any prerequisites or problems with involving NIMH in an rp, because some of the reprecussions could be major and this would have to be very meticulously planned out.

I personally would like to see this idea be developed. Since it involves NIMH, the idea would need to be reviewed by the wizstaff, but as long as it doesn't involve the escape of new experiments, I think it could be a very interesting thought.
Yeah, I figured as much
I figured it'd have to be run thru the wiz staff, but i wanted to throw the idea out there first to see who/if anyone had an outright objection to the idea.
As for the rest, was debating that whole 'other experiments' thing, and it seems to me that the 'intellegence' experiments that created the rats (and mice) would probably be long dead since the escape, or shortly therafter, but i still imagine there are some things going on. That's something that'll have to be worked out...
