Cadmus walks down the darkened corridor, nervous to the point of shaking. He'd rarely attended even his own council meetings; conversing with THIS council made him queasy at best. He eventually comes upon the doorway into the meeting hall. Taking a deep breath, he walks in

Continuing on from Part 1, Timothy and Cadmus go to Justin to explain the Mouse Colony situation, while an odd, new rat makes a sudden appearance.

After having unsuccessfully tried visiting Justin's apartment and the Infirmary, a now slightly discouraged Timothy tries the one other place he knew Justin to frequent: the Guardhouse. He knocks on the guardhouse door, peeking inside. "Justin?"

It was a finer afternoon, light streamed through the windows of the lounge, and a light babble of talk was to be heard. Cadmus was to be found lounging against the wall on a bench, silently contemplating the events of the last few days, and off the life he had left behind. Sitting up suddenly, he noticed company had arrived.
